Family Welcome Centers (FWCs) serve NYC families all year round with enrollment and admissions by appointment. FWCs can support with:

  • Transferring your child to another NYC public school
  • Enrolling your child in NYC public Schools
  • Applying for 3-K, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Middle and High School

Registering for NYC MYSchools

NYC families can use MySchools to apply to public schools from 3-K to high school. Get started by creating an account. Then explore your children’s personalized school options and get guidance on the admissions process from start to finish.
